How long does the process take?

How long do lash extensions last?
Depending on your lash growth cycle, skin type, and aftercare, the extensions can last between 2-3 weeks.
How do I prepare for the application and what are the Aftercare Guidelines?
Prepare for your Application
SHOWER BEFORE your arrival and cleanse your eye area and eyelashes gently but thoroughly. For those who have oily skin types, shower right before your arrival.
(Very important to REMOVE as much OIL residue as possible from your lashes, for longer lasting extensions)
PREPARE for the next 2 days - your new set of extensions cannot be wet for 48 hours after the application.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions and for the prevention of an eye irritation)
DO NOT come with make-up (foundation, eyeliner, eye shadow, or mascara) eye creams, and eye serums. Although, we will ask you to remove the make-up with an oil-free make-up remover, and we cleanse and prime your lashes, the OIL residue from these products may still compromise the bond between the extensions and your own natural lashes, affecting the longevity of the lash extensions.
(Doing so may cause more frequent touch-ups - WE LOVE SEEING YOU, but WE LOVE MORE FOR YOU to get your moneys worth!)
DO NOT wear contacts to your appointment or within 48 hours after the application, wear glasses instead.
(Doing so may cause an eye irritation - Your eyes may be closed for several hours, causing some to tear; the tears may compromise the contact lenses irritating the eyes, even after the lashes are removed. The contact lense may have to be replaced with a new set - Please consult with an Optometrist)
DO NOT curl your eyelashes on the day of your lash appointment.
(Doing so may affect the shape of the end results)
DO NOT apply heavy creams, lotions or oils to your face within 24 hours prior to your eyelash application.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions)
DO NOT receive chemical treatments to your eyelashes, such as tinting or perming, within 48 hours prior to your appointment.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions and for the prevention of an eye irritation)
WAIT 24 hours after lash removal prior to having your new set of extensions applied.
(OIL is an ingregredient of the adhesive remover - waiting 24 hours, taking a shower, and cleansing your lashes will allow for longer lasting extensions)
ENSURE you have fully recovered from recent irritating eye-area treatments, such as skin-resurfacing procedures, chemical peels, eyebrow waxing, laser treatments and permanent makeup application.
(Recovery time varies with each procedure and each individual)
Aftercare Guidelines
DO NOT wet your lashes, apply mascara, or apply cream to your eyes within the first 48 hours of your treatment.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions and for the prevention of an eye irritation. KEEP IN MIND putting eye drops or standing in a hot shower (within the 48 hours) may ALSO cause the adhesive to get wet before the adhesive has completely bonded)
DO NOT expose your lashes to spray or airbrush tanning, the sauna, and excessive steam within 48 hrs of application.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions and for the prevention of an eye irritation)
DO NOT use oil based makeup products.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions - the adhesive is water resistent, but not oil-resistent. The oil residue will cause the adhesive bond to break sooner)
DO NOT use heated eyelash curler while wearing eyelash extensions.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions and for the prevention of damaging your own natural lashes)
DO NOT perm your lashes while wearing eyelash extensions.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions and prevention of an eye irritation or damage to your own natural lashes)
DO NOT pull on your lashes or rub your eyes.
(Very important for the longevity of your lash extensions and for the prevention of damaging your own natural lashes)
DO bat your eyes and enjoy your lashes!
(Tell your friends - receive a $10 referral credit on your account after their appointment)
